THE MORIESIAN HORSE REGISTRY |
The purpose of the MHR is to maintain records and ensure all registrations and tranfers are carried out in accordance with the Bylaws and Rules of the registry. It is incumbent upon every breeder to support and comply with the bylaws and rules, and thus preserve and promote the Moriesian breed.
The Registry has two main divisions and an Elite Status division:
1. First Generation 'F' (Foundation) Moriesian Horse Registration.
This division applies to any Moriesian resulting from a Friesian and Morgan cross.
2. Second Generation 'M' (Moriesian) Horse Registration
This division applies to the foal or horse from a Moriesian sire and Moriesian dam.
3. Elite Moriesian Sport Horse Division
The purpose of this division is to promote the Moriesian breed as sport horses. The horse must be a registered Moriesian and be proven in one of the following tests.
In-Hand
Dressage
Combined Driving
Show Jumping
Endurance Riding
Competitive Trail Riding
